Thiel & Associates is an insurance agency specializing in Individual Health & Medicare Insurance. Founded by Kevin Thiel in 1976 and based in Shawano, Wisconsin, the agency has become the local, trusted leader in providing quality insurance options.
Today, Thiel & Associates is an independent insurance agency that is highly specialized in products for the Senior Market. These products include Traditional Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Part D (Prescription Drug Plans). We also sell different types of Individual (ACA) health insurance products, Hospital Indemnity, Dental, and Vision.

We know how important family is and, from our family to yours, we are committed to finding the best products for your unique needs. Chad Thiel, Kevin's son, joined the agency in 2005 and Sarah Hinrichs, his daughter, joined in 2009. They continue to guide the agency after Kevin's retirement in 2023. Together with agents, Daniel Poels and Dustin Toellner, and our Office Manager, Jessica Madison, we are committed to educating our clients and providing the exceptional, personal customer service we are known for.
